“YOU ARE HIS PROJECT”

Memory Verse: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6

INTRODUCTION:
Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “When will God finish what He started in me?”

Imagine a building under construction. When you pass by, you may see exposed blocks, scattered materials, dust, and unfinished walls. It may not look beautiful yet. But the owner sees what the building will become.

That is how God sees you.

Your life may look unfinished, your prayers may seem unanswered, and your journey may appear slow, but you are still God’s project. He has not abandoned you.

GOD IS STILL WORKING ON YOU:
Sometimes we become discouraged because we compare our present condition with someone else’s finished testimony. But God does not abandon a project simply because it is taking time.

Isaiah 64:8 says, “We are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”

The potter does not throw away the clay because it needs more shaping. He continues working until it becomes what he intended.

Your delay is not necessarily denial.
Your struggle is not the end of your story.
Your weakness does not cancel God’s purpose.
Your unfinished season does not mean God has finished with you.

HE WILL COMPLETE THE WORK IN YOU:
Joseph passed through the pit, slavery, and prison before reaching the palace (Genesis 37 – 41). David was anointed king long before he sat on the throne (1 Samuel 16; 2 Samuel 5:4).

The process was painful, but the purpose was greater than the process.

Perhaps you are presently in a “construction season.” Do not give up because you cannot yet see the finished product.

Philippians 1:6 assures us that the God who began the good work will carry it through to completion.

DO NOT ABANDON YOURSELF:
If God has not abandoned you, do not abandon yourself.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep growing.
Keep obeying.
Keep trusting.

Psalm 138:8 declares: “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me.”

The chapter you are living today is not the whole book. God is still writing your story.

CONCLUSION:
You may see cracks; God sees construction.
You may see delay; God sees preparation.
You may see weakness; God sees potential.
You may see an unfinished life; God sees a work in progress.

You are His project, and He is not finished with you yet!

PRAYER:
Father, thank You for beginning a good work in me. When I become discouraged, remind me that I am still in Your hands. Give me grace to trust Your process, patience to wait for Your timing, and faith to believe that You will complete everything You have started in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
