“WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTED END?”

Key Scripture:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD… thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11

A young man planted a seed and watered it every morning. Days passed, then weeks. Nothing appeared.

One day, discouraged, he said, “Perhaps nothing is happening.”

But beneath the soil, the seed was already developing roots.

What looked like a delay was actually preparation.

Sometimes, God does not immediately change your situation because He is first preparing you for the situation you have been praying for.

  • The delay may be developing your character.
  • The waiting may be strengthening your faith.
  • The closed door may be redirecting your steps.
  • The difficult season may be preparing you for what you have been asking God to accomplish through your life.

Joseph had a dream, but the fulfilment did not come immediately. He passed through the pit, slavery and prison before reaching the palace. The process was painful, but God had not forgotten His purpose. – Genesis 37:5 – 11; 41:41–43

WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTED END IN THE LAST QUARTER?

Perhaps you are asking:

“When will my prayer be answered?”
“When will my season change?”
“When will my dream become reality?”

Instead of allowing the delay to destroy your faith, ask God:

“Lord, what are You preparing me for?”

Then:

  • Pray again.
  • Believe in Him again.
  • Prepare again.
  • Trust God again.

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” – Habakkuk 2:3

Your present situation is not necessarily your final destination.

The chapter you are crying over today may be preparing you for a testimony tomorrow.

Do not allow today’s difficulty to make you forget God’s faithfulness.

God sees what you cannot see.
God knows what you do not know.
God is working even when you cannot see the evidence.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

HOLD ON TO GOD:
You may not understand the process, but trust the One who knows the end from the beginning.

Your expected end is not determined by today’s disappointment.

It is in God’s hands.

So keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep preparing.
Keep trusting.

The seed may still be underground, but that does not mean it is dead.

  • Your season may be difficult, but God is not finished with you.
  • Your journey may be long, but your story is still being written.
  • Trust Him, He knows your expected end.

PRAYER:
O Lord, when I do not understand my season, help me trust Your purpose for me. Strengthen my faith while I wait, prepare me for what You have prepared for me, and give me the grace to remain faithful until Your purpose is fulfilled in my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
