HOLY SPIRIT AND THE EARLY CHURCH.

The early Church did not begin as an organization but as a movement – fueled, empowered, and led by the Holy Spirit. From the moment the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost, believers became bold witnesses – preaching the good news without fear, miracles that follows confirmed the message of Jesus Christ, and the Gospel spread across the world. The same Spirit who worked in the early Church is alive in us today!

  1. The Holy Spirit Gave Power to Witness: Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He told His disciples”But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8

At Pentecost, this promise was fulfilled. The timid disciples became fearless preachers, declaring the Gospel of Christ in many languages, and 3,000 people were saved in one day according to Acts 2:1-41.

  1. The Holy Spirit Brought Boldness and Courage: The same Peter who denied Jesus three times stood before a hostile crowd and declared,”God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” — Acts 2:36

Even when threatened, the apostles prayed for more boldness, and the Holy Spirit shook the place they were in, filling them with fresh courage (Acts 4:29-31).

  1. The Holy Spirit Worked Miracles and Signs: Through the Holy Spirit, the early Church experienced supernatural manifestations. A crippled man at the temple gate was healed (Acts 3:1-10).

Shadows of the apostles brought healing (Acts 5:15-16).

The dead were raised (Acts 9:36-42).

The Spirit confirmed the Word with signs and wonders, drawing many to salvation.

  1. The Holy Spirit Directed the Church’s Growth: The early Church did not rely on human strategies but followed the leading of the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit called Paul and Barnabas for missionary work (Acts 13:2-4).

He guided Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch, leading to a divine encounter (Acts 8:26-40).

He prevented Paul from going in the wrong direction and redirected him to Macedonia (Acts 16:6-10).

The Spirit was the master strategist behind the Church expansion!

  1. The Holy Spirit Transformed Lives: Saul, the persecutor of Christians, became Paul, the greatest missionary, after being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:17-22). The Spirit still transforms lives today, making sinners into saints and cowards into champions of faith.

The Holy Spirit is Still Moving Today!

The same Spirit who empowered the early Church is in us today. He gives us power to witness, courage to stand firm, gifts to serve, and wisdom to follow God’s plan. Let us yield to Him, walk in His power, and be part of His unstoppable mission!

Are you ready to let the Holy Spirit work through you?

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25

Pray with me:
“Holy Spirit, fill me afresh! Use me for Your glory, empower me to be a bold witness, and lead me as You led the early Church in Jesus’ name – Amen.

SALVATION AND ETERNAL LIFE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12

Dear friend.

Life is fleeting. No matter how much we chase after success, wealth, or pleasure, a day will come when we must face eternity. The question is, where will you spend your eternity?

Many people believe that good works, religious rituals, or simply being “a good person” can earn them a place in heaven. But the Bible tells us a different truth – Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

The Problem is Our Sin
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

Sin separates us from God. No matter how hard we try, we cannot erase our sins by ourselves. The penalty for sin is eternal separation from God – spiritual death.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

The Solution is in Jesus Christ alone.
God, in His great love, sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our sins. Jesus, who was sinless,l and blameless took upon Himself the punishment we deserved.

“But God demonstrated his own love for us in Romans 5:8 – While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Through His death on the cross and His resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death, offering us the free gift of salvation and eternal life.

The Only Way to Eternal Life as declared by Jesus Himself:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

Eternal life is not found in religion, philosophy, or personal efforts. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ.

Will You Accept This Precious Gift?
Salvation is a gift that must be received. You can not earn it – you simply believe and trust in Jesus Christ alone.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Today, Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Will you let Him in?

In Revelation 3:20 – “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Can you join me Pray and Surrender your life to Jesus Christ,
If you are ready to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, pray this prayer from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I cannot save myself regardless of works. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. I confess You as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart, forgive my sins, and give me eternal life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you have prayed this prayer in faith, you are now a child of God! Welcome to Christ Precious family.

To help you strengthen, and improve your faith in Him, I urge you to

  1. Read the Bible daily.
  2. Pray and develop a personal relationship with Him.
  3. Join a Bible-believing Church for fellowship and guidance.

Jesus loves and cares for you, and He has prepared a place for you in eternity.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” – John 3:36.
