WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE JESUS CHRIST AS A FRIEND.

Have you ever felt alone and lonely?
Have you ever longed for someone who truly understands you – who feels your pain, sees your struggles, your fears, and still chooses to stay with you?
Life can be cruel, and people can fail us most times when we needed them most.
Friends can leave. Hearts can break. But there is one who will never walk away, never betray you, and never stop loving you. His name is Jesus Christ – a friend to the friendless, the downtrodden, the forsaken, the abandoned and the rejected ones.

A FRIEND WHO NEVER LEAVES.

You may have been abandoned. Maybe you have been hurt so deeply that trusting anyone again seems impossible. But Jesus whispers, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” in Hebrews 13:5. He is a friend who stays when everyone else disappears. Even when you push Him away, He stands at the door of your heart, knocking – waiting for you to let Him in Revelation 3:20.

A FRIEND WHO UNDERSTANDS YOUR PAIN.

Jesus knows what it feels like to be betrayed. He knows the sting of rejection. He knows what it means to weep in sorrow. On the cross at Golgotha, He bore not only the weight of our sins but also our pain, our loneliness, our struggles. “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief” – Isaiah 53:3. He does not just see your pain – He feels it. And He walks with you through it.

A FRIEND WHO LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.

Human love often comes with conditions. But Jesus love is different. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). He loved you so much that He gave His life for you. Not because you were perfect, but because He saw you at your worst and still chose you.

A FRIEND WHO HEALS AND RESTORES.

Maybe your heart is shattered. Maybe you have made mistakes you think can never be forgiven. Jesus does not turn away from the broken hearted. He specializes in healing what others would throw away. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” according to Psalm 147:3. He can take your pain, your regrets, your shame, and turn them into something precious and beautiful.

A FRIEND WHO GIVES YOU HOPE..

This world can feel dark and empty at certain times. But Jesus brings hope. He offers a future that is full of life and purpose. With Him, you are never lost or too lost to be found, never too broken to be mended, never too far gone to be brought home. In John Gospel 10:10, Jesus emphasized “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”.

WILL YOU ACCEPT HIS FRIENDSHIP?

Jesus is not just a distant friend or figure in history. He is alive. He is where ever you are. And He is calling your name. You do not have to do anything to earn His love but just receive Him into your life. Let Him into your life. Let Him be the friend your heart has always longed for.

Right now, He is reaching out to you. Will you take His hand inhissteps?

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28.

GOD CAN DO ALL THINGS.

Have you ever felt like giving up? Like the mountains before you are too high, and rough, the storm too fierce, or the burden too heavy for you to carry. Maybe you have prayed and waited for a while yet nothing seems to change. Maybe your heart is weary, doubt whispers and you are contemplating “Is God really able in my case?”

Let me remind you today – that same God can do all things.

The Bible declares in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Not some things, not most things – nothing is impossible with Him.

Think about some of the stories we read in the Bible:

When the Red Sea stood like a wall before the Israelites to pass through, God made a way where there was none and all hope was lost. (Exodus 14:21-22)

When Sarah laughed at the thought of having a child in her old age as proclaimed by the Angel, God fulfilled His promise regardless of time and season. (Genesis 21:1-2)

When Lazarus lay dead in the tomb for four days and Mary became helpless, Jesus spoke, and life returned and he who was dead became alive. (John 11:43-44)

Maybe your are struggling with life challenges, and your pain is real. Your questions are real, and, so is God’s power. The same God who healed the sick, calmed the storm, parted the red sea, and raised the dead is the God who sees you right now and He is very conversant with your situation. He hears your silent cries, He knows your deepest fears, and your unanswered prayers – do not lose hope.

Do not lose hope.

What seems impossible to you is effortless done by Him. What is broken, He can restore. What is lost, He can redeem. What feels over, He can begin anew. What is your situation like, hopeless or too late by your judgement but to us He is able.

Will you give Him a trial?

No matter what you are going through in life, “God can do all things even now”. Just believe in Him, trust and relie on Him, then, watch Him move in ways beyond your imaginations.

He is able, He is waiting for you. Do not tell Him ney!

“GROW YOUR TEETH AND SCATTER THE MOUNTAINS”

“I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.” – Isaiah 41:15 (NIV).

Mountains symbolized the challenges, obstacles, difficulties and hardships we faced in life. They seem immovable, daunting, insurmountable and most times beyond our individual strength. But God assures His people that no mountain is too great for Him. In Isaiah 41:15, He promises to transform believers into His instruments of power, capable of overcoming the impossible to an ordinary man.

Teeth in this context represent strength, readiness, Boldness and effectiveness. In the ordinary sense, a tool is blunt and powerless without teeth. Growing spiritual “teeth” means allowing God to strengthen believers through His Word, prayer, faith and absolute obedience to His will. It is about sharpening our trust in His promises and being equipped by the Holy Spirit to face life challenges.

How to Grow Spiritual Teeth

  1. Stay Rooted in God’s Word: The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). It equips you to discern, stand firm and overcome.
  2. Pray with Faith: Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move,’ and it will move” (Matthew 17:20). Faith activates God’s power.
  3. Walk in Obedience: As you align your life with God’s will, you’ll experience His enabling power (Deuteronomy 28:1-13).
  4. Dependence on the Holy Spirit: The Spirit is your Helper, guiding, strengthening and empowering you to face challenges (Zechariah 4:6).

God’s Promise that No matter how insurmountable your challenges appear, His promise is sure. He is the One who empowers you to face and conquer them. As you grow your spiritual teeth, you will not only overcome but also turn your trials into testimonies by His grace.

Will You allow God to Equip You Now and sharpen you into His powerful tool. Just surrender your fears, doubts and struggles to Him and watch Him scatters the mountains before you. The decision is yours, I urge you to give Him a chance and walk inhissteps.

Say with me:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender myself and the mountains to You. Take over and equip me with faith, strength and wisdom to overcome my mountains. Thank You for the available grace, my strength in You and my victory in the waiting in Jesus name – Amen.”

HOW PREPARED ARE YOU FOR HIS SECOND COMING?

The Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour – Jesus Christ is one of the central doctrines of the Christian faith, a promise that is both a source of hope and a call to readiness. Jesus Himself declared, “Behold, I am coming soon!” – Revelation 22:12. But as we contemplate this profound event, the ultimate question remains: how prepared are we for His second coming?.

The Bible is too certain about Christ’s return. Jesus prophesied it in Matthew 24:30-31, the angels affirmed it at His ascension in Acts 1:10-11, and the apostles reinforced it in their writings according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. His return will be sudden, visible and glorious – a day that the redeemed in Christ are waiting for.

Although, the time is still unknown to men. Jesus warned, “But about that day or hour no one knows” – Matthew 24:36.

A lesson from the parable of the ten virgins in Matt. 25:1-13 is a sobering reminder of the consequences of spiritual neglect or laziness. Five were wise and kept their lamps filled with oil, symbolizing a life of vigilance and intimacy with God. The other five were foolish, unprepared when the bridegroom arrived. The consequences we also know. What is your state of preparedness.

Preparation for Christ’s second coming is about our daily walk with God, obedience to His Word and service to His kingdom.

If He returned now, what would He find in you? Would He see a faithful servant eagerly awaiting His arrival, or a distracted soul in a State indecision or uncertainty?. Let the words of Apostle John in Rev. 22:20 be your watch words each day, hour, minute and seconds: “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus”.

Permit me to ask you
How prepared are you for His second coming?.
Time is fast running out.
