Usiseme “HAPANA”.

Ufunuo 3:20 – “Mimi hapa! Ninasimama mlangoni na kubisha hodi. Mtu akiisikia sauti yangu na kuufungua mlango, nitaingia na kula pamoja na mtu huyo, na wao pamoja nami.”

JESUS INVITATION TO ALL

One of the most profound truths about Jesus is that His availability is never dependent on our circumstances, past mistakes or current struggles. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever according to Hebrews 13:8, offering unchanging grace to all who turn to and accept Him as their Lord and personal Saviour.

Jesus that I know is not limited by our Circumstances

Life often brings seasons of uncertainty, pain, or lack. Yet, Jesus stands constant amidst these storms. In Matthew 14:29-31, when Peter stepped out of the boat and began sinking in fear, Jesus immediately reached out His hand to Peter. Peter walking on water during a storm did not hinder Jesus readiness to save him. No matter how overwhelming your situation maybee, His help is just a meditation away.

Also, Jesus availability to all, is not Defined by our Past Mistakes

Our failures does not disqualify us from Jesus love. Consider Peter, who denied Jesus three times. Yet, after the resurrection, Jesus restored Peter, entrusting him with the care of His flock as stated in John 21:15-17. Jesus sees beyond our mistakes, offering forgiveness and a fresh beginning. As Psalm 103:12 reminds us, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

Moreso, Jesus is not Deterred by our Current Struggles

Jesus welcomes us in our brokenness, not after we have “fixed” ourselves. In Matthew 11:28, He invites, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” Whether battling doubt, fear, addiction or guilt, His grace is sufficient – 2 Corinthians 12:9. He meets us where we are and walks with us toward our freedom.

Above all His Grace is Always Extended

Jesus grace is proactive and unconditional at all times. The parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, illustrates this assertion. When the son returned in repentance, the father ran to meet him, embracing him with open arms. This reflects Jesus heart for us. He does not wait for us to earn His favour but lavishes us with grace the moment we turn to Him.

Jesus availability transcends human limitations. Regardless of your circumstances, past or present struggles, He stands ready to welcome you with open arms. His love is constant, not changing, His grace is abundantly sufficient and His invitation is eternal: “Come.” Will you respond to Him today?. The decision is yours. Do not say “NO”.

Revelation 3:20 – “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY “COME”

The Spirit and the bride say, ‘COME!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life” – Rev. 22:17.

Chris’s life seemed glamorous on the outside. He drove expensive and classical customized cars, wore designer suits, lived in mansions and threw extravagant parties at intervals. But behind the illusion was a man deeply broken beyond human comprehension. His wealth actually came from questionable deals and occultic practices he thought would give him power, influence and control. Yet, no matter what he acquired or how many rituals he performed at intervals, satisfaction was far from him.

Night after night, day after day, Chris lay awake, haunted by emptiness and fear of the abominable. Despite his riches and fearful acclaimed satisfaction, he felt an emptiness in his soul. Friends who had once admired him started turning away from him as a result of his arrogance, fictitious life style and all round recklessness.

One day, Chris’s old schoolmate, Ben, visited him unexpectedly. Ben had once been a man of similar lifestyle, he found Jesus, embraced Jesus and was now peaceful and with inborn joy. “Chris, Jesus loves and cares for you,” Ben said with urgency and high degree of sincerity, He can free you from all these entanglements and give you real peace.”

Chris laughed bitterly. “Jesus? What can He do for a man like me? I have gone too far, there seems to be no hope for me anymore.” Ben responded, “Jesus says, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest’ – Matthew 11:28. It does not matter what you have done and the extent you have gone. The Spirit and the Son are calling you to come to Him.”

But Chris was rather adamant. Weeks turned into months and his life spiraled further. Business deals collapsed, his health deteriorated and the occultic forces he once relied on started tormented him. Despair consumed him and one night, with nothing left, Chris remembered Ben’s invitation to Jesus, he fell on his knees. For the first time in his life, he remembered and cried out, “Jesus, if You are real as Ben said, save me. I am truly tired. I can not do it on my own any longer, have mercy on me Jesus”.

At that moment, something extraordinary happened. Chris felt a weight lift off his chest, shoulder and an overwhelming peace flooded his heart. It was not just a feeling but His presence. He felt and then realized Jesus had heard him.

Chris surrendered his life to Jesus that night, renounced his past and embraced Jesus for salvation. He found a tract – “The Spirit and the Bride says COME” and a Bible and he began to read. As he learned about God’s grace, unconditional love and forgiveness, his heart melted. He realized that of the truth what Ben told him was an absolute truth. He felt a relief again as the chains of guilt, shame, and fear that had bound him for years were broken.

Chris is an Evangelist and he shares his story boldly. “I was a man lost in darkness, chasing power and wealth but it led only to destruction. Jesus did not reject me, even when I had rejected Him for years. He waited patiently and kept calling me through His Spirit. When I finally came to Him, He gave me a new life and a peace I never thought was possible.”

Jesus Is also Calling You now, No matter how far you have gone or how broken your life may seem. Jesus is saying, “Come.” The Spirit is drawing you by the moment, urging you to turn from your past and find hope, peace and freedom in Christ.

Can you Pray this Prayer Today:

“Lord Jesus, thank you for today, thank you for Jesus, I come to You with all my failures and burdens. I believe You died for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I surrender my past and my future to You. Forgive me, cleanse me and make me new. Thank You for answering me in Jesus name – Amen.”

GOD IS FAITHFUL – Deu. 7:9, Lam. 3:22-23, 2 Tim. 2:13.

Faithfulness is an integral part of God. Because He is faithful we can depend, trust and relie on Him and in His Words. In a world where promises are rarely kept, always broken and trust is hard to find but God is faithful to His Words.

Prophet Malachi 3:6: extolled God’s unchanging nature and assurance to believers indeed – “For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.”

The Psalmist in 119:90 – expressed that His faithfulness spans all generations, all tribes, all ages, and all races, implying He can be trusted no matter the circumstances we find ourselves.

In Lam. 3:22-23 – It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

In Josh. 23:14 – And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

According to Joshua “Not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. From Abraham to Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, He kept His words and will not fail in our generation.

Even in Our Lives, is He not faithful to you. In 1 Corinthians 10:13: “God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability.”

His faithfulness always provided us with a way out of every trial.

In Lamentations 3:22-23
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Our God is faithful in Promises as in Hebrews 10:23. He fulfills every promise He makes, whether …….

He is also Faithful in Forgiveness – 1 John 1:9.

God is Faithful even in Trials: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear” – 1 Corinthians 10:13.

In 1 John 1:9, we have a responsibility to confess our sins and believe in Him so as to experience His faithfulness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

As believers we are in peace, very hopeful and have absolute confidence in things we do and asked for because His faithfulness is for ever and according to His words He will never fail us even when at situations we are faithless (2 Tim. 2:13), Our God is faithful in all ways and at all times regardless of seasons, circumstances or factors contending.

May He grant you the needed grace to seek Him always, so as to experience His faithfulness at all times.

THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

In John Gospel 14:16-17: Jesus said “And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth.”
Jesus here made a promise to His Disciples, that He will asked His Father to send the Holy Spirit here referred to an helper that will guide them forever, at all times – a promise kept.

In Jesus context the Holy Spirit is God’s precious gift for His chosen, those who believed in Him. This promise was not just for a selected few but for all that accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour.

In Acts of the Apostle 2.38 – “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”.
As believers we have a role – “to repent and a responsibility to be baptized” before we can receive this free gift of the Holy Spirit as promised.

It is also worthy to know that the gift is for a purpose according to Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”

As it was foretold in the old testament in Joel 2:28, it was not a vague hope but a declaration of God’s plan for His people. Jesus reaffirmed this Promise as seen in John 14:16-17 and it came to pass on the Pentecost according to Acts 2:1-4.

And for the seek of this generation – Apostle Peter declared in Acts 2:39, “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

To every believer the Holy Spirit supposed to be an integral part directing, helping and empowering the Believer’s Life in all ways and at all times.

As a believer have you received this precious gift from the Father. If not have ask Him, so that you can receive. According to Luke 11:13: “How much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him”

Without doubt the Holy Spirit is a gift for All that believe, He is not earned but freely given to those who have repented, believed and invited Him into their lives.

Brethren, the promised Holy Spirit is a treasure for every believer to behold. If you have not received the Holy Spirit, today is the day to ask for. Open your heart to Him, welcome Him, receive Him and experience the transformative power of His presence in your life.

You can take this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you came, went the way of the cross for my sake, I believe in You, Your powers and Your promised Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your Spirit today. Help me to walk in Your power and live for Your glory alone in Jesus name – Amen.”

If you have received, please do not grieve the Holy Spirit by your actions or thoughts.
Rather, let us commit to deepening our fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

May our Father grant us the grace to live for Him at all times.

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit – Believers option.

As we step into year 2025, one of the most rewarding gifts we can embrace or redefine is our fellowship with the Holy Spirit. To a believer the Holy Spirit is not just an helper in moments of need but an ever-present companion at all times, who guides, empowers and remould us to be like Christ.
To the Church, the Holy Spirit is the head of the Church, who inaugurated and empowered the Church on the Pentecost.

To a believer: –

  • The Holy Spirit is Our Guide and an help.

According to John 16:13 – “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth.”

In 2025, we will face decisions, challenges and opportunities. And without the guide/help of the Holy Spirit, we may rely on human wisdom and advice, which is limited and often flawed. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit ensures that we walk in divine wisdom and truth at all times but in the alternative the Holy Spirit will not guide nor help us if we do not stay in fellowship with Him.

  • The Holy Spirit Empowers Us

In Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit empowers us with boldness to share the Gospel and strength to persevere through trials. As believers, we cannot rely on our strength alone, we desire the Holy Spirit to succeed at all times. Believers, life without the Holy Spirit is a life without vitality, focus and effectiveness.

  • The Holy Spirit effects Changes in our life

2 Cor. 3:18 – “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

The Holy Spirit remould us, making us more like Christ. In 2025, we must let Him shape our character, attitudes, thoughts and actions. These changes are keys to living as salt and light of the earth.

  • The Holy Spirit Brings Comfort and Peace

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” — John 14:16

2025 may bring uncertainties but the Holy Spirit will provides supernatural peace and assurance. The Holy Spirit reminds us of God’s promises and presence, even in the darkest moments. When fear or anxiety arises, turn to the Holy Spirit. Meditate on His presence and let Him calm your heart. He is ever ready to help

To the Church: –

In Acts 1:8 – “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The early Church was Inaugurated and empowered by the Holy Spirit in fulfillment of Jesus promise to His disciples. After His ascension, Jesus instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the coming of the Holy Spirit upon them, who according to Him, would provide the needed power and guidance to carry out His mission given to them (Acts 1:8). As promised, on the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended in a manner they never expected, transformed and equipped the believers to boldly preach the gospel of Christ and live in unity.

The roles played by the Holy Spirit in the early Church serves as a powerful experience for today’s believers. It demonstrates how absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit can brings about spiritual growth, unity and fulfillment of God’s purposes on earth.

Some of these roles are –

  • Church Inauguration:
The Holy Spirit inaugurated the Church on the day of Pentecost by descending upon the believers in a dramatic way, filling them with power, boldness and the ability to speak and preach the gospel in multiple languages – Acts 2:1-4.
  • Boldness in Preaching:
The Holy Spirit empowered the Apostles, especially Peter and Paul, to preach fearlessly despite persecution and Peter who was once fearful became bold and proclaimed the Gospel, leading to the conversion of 3,000 people – Acts. 2:14 – 41.
  • Direction for Mission:
The Holy Spirit directed Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch and Paul and Barnabas to their missionary journeys (Acts 8:26-40; Acts 13:1-4).
  • Disputes Resolution:
The Holy Spirit resolved disputes within the Church such as those regarding Gentiles believers – Acts. 15:28.
  • Signs and Wonders:
The Apostles performed miracles in the Bible through the power of the Holy Spirit – Acts 3:6-10.
  • Unity and Fellowship:
The Holy Spirit fostered unity, love and fellowship as seen in the believers share possessions and communal worship – Acts 2:42-47.
  • Selection of Leaders:
The early Church relied on the Holy Spirit to choose deacons and other leaders for service and He also guided the Church in selecting Spirit-filled individuals – Acts 6:3-10.
  • Overcoming Opposition:
Despite persecution, the Holy Spirit gave believers courage and resilience in their exploits for the Kingdom – Acts 4:31.

Conclusion:

The role of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the early Church therefore reminds us of His transformative powers and guidance. As we yield to Him, He will work in and through us to guide and empower us as individuals, collective worship, decision-making and mission works in our generations and next.

As we journey through year 2025, let us commit to deepening our fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He is our guide, help, transformer and comforter at all times.

  • Make time daily to commune with the Holy Spirit through prayers, worship and meditation on the Word.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to fill and saturates you in every area of your life inhissteps#.
  • Expect changes not according to your desires but His, as you yield to Him daily.
